We do not want finances to hold any student back from participating in the Discover D.C. trip.  As such, we must raise $20,000.00 by June 7, 2009.  We are working very hard here in Leland to raise funds.  We have worked with Krispy Kreme to sell doughnuts, we have sponsored Jean Days at school, where students pay $1.00 to dress out of uniforms and wear jeans.  Additionally, we have sponsored parties for the elementary and middle school to celebrate the end of 9 weeks testing and Valentines day.    We are working very hard to raise the funds, however, we are working in a community with limited resources.  As such, we are relying heavily on donations to raise the $20,000.00.  If you would like to make a donation, you have the option of writing a check to "Leland School Park-Discover D.C." and sending it to the school, or donating online.  All information about donations can be found in the Contact Us page.
